That is because now, more than ever, there is an unprecidented number of vehicles from which to choose to place your message and the list keeps growing. Many of these products are good too. Some...not so good. How do you wade through the clutter? How do you decide what is right for you? Do you have time to study the effectiveness of so many different devices or do you let a well rehearsed sales person sway you into a decision that may haunt you. Beware the silver tongues.

If you are truly serious about effectively marketing your business and getting results, then seeking the unbiased help of a professional is a good idea. It is the job of a marketing professional to not guess, but KNOW the pros and cons of today's wide variety of marketing products. A short conversation with such a professional may save you thousands of dollars ill spent on a well presented but ultimately bad choice of product or service. Don't let the silver tongued sales person of a poor product be your sounding board. Every business, regardless of size, should have someone to bounce ideas off of when making marketing decisions. In fact, smaller business with smaller budgets may need this help even more. Either way, wasting marketing money is worse than not marketing at all. All that does is deplete your precious capital.

Although ad agencies are thought to be "expensive", many are really very affordable and bring a lot to the table in terms of understanding and product knowledge. Spending $60 or $80 on a discussion that may save you hundreds...or even thousands...well that's a good trade-off. Besides, most relish the challenge of helping a client achieve results that bring forth prosperity. After all, isn't that "job security".
